Bedrooms

The accommodation we provide is designed to make our residents feel comfortable in their surroundings. We actively encourage residents to decorate their room with their own belongings to promote a sense of familiarity. The bedrooms are modern and tastefully decorated and most have ensuite toilet facilities.

Gardens & Lounges

As well as large private areas, the home has a large lounge where residents can relax with other residents or meet with visitors. We have a beautiful garden with plenty of seating areas for residents to enjoy.

Cuisine / Catering

Good quality, nutritious food is an important component for health and well-being in all our residents' lives. Our ingredients are locally sourced and meals are freshly prepared each day. Our chef provides a varied and balanced menu and happily caters for special diets and preferences, where requested. Fresh fruit and vegetables from our local suppliers are offered daily. Drinks and snacks are also served throughout the day. Residents can choose to utilise the social aspect of mealtimes by enjoying their meals in our comfortable dining room, or if preferred, within the privacy of their own room.

Excursions

We also take our residents on frequent day excursions or trips outside the home as a way of encouraging more social interaction, physical and mental stimulation.

Sensory Room, Décor & Equipment

We have reminiscence walls (Elvis etc). A tranquil garden scene on one of the hallway walls to promote calm. We also have sensory equipment such as lights, soft feeling objects, a purring cat, baby doll therapy, smell box and a fantastic interactive games table called, torveltavel table.

Cobbs Café

We have an upstairs lounge area, decorated to resemble a café so residents can have a change of scenery and have the sense of being out in a different café with their friends and family.
